GatherWall

Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

GatherWall ("we", "us") helps people create live tribute walls, memorials and keepsakes for their events. We take privacy seriously — especially because our service often involves photos, messages and memories of people who matter. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights.

Who is responsible

The data controller is the GatherWall operator. For any privacy question or request, contact baba.analytix@gmail.com.

What we collect

How we use it

We do not sell your data, and we do not show ads.

Guest contributions

Guests can usually contribute without an account, via a link or QR code. The content they add is personal data belonging to the people in it. Organisers are responsible for having a reasonable basis to collect and display it, and can remove any contribution. We provide moderation tools to help.

Keeping & deleting data

Live walls are kept for the event and a short archive period; memorials and keepsakes can be kept long-term at the organiser's choice. You can ask us to delete an event and its content at any time by emailing us, and we will action it promptly.

Sharing

We use a small number of trusted providers to run the service — for example hosting and database (Google Firebase) and payments (Stripe). They process data on our behalf under their own safeguards.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under UK/EU GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any right, email baba.analytix@gmail.com.

Cookies

We use only the cookies/local storage needed to make the site work (for example, remembering your language). We do not use advertising trackers.

This is a plain-language starting policy. Before taking live payments at scale, have it reviewed against your final business setup and jurisdiction.
